Infused with the essence of one of Frank Lloyd Wright’s most distinct projects, this Bulova men’s timepiece pays tribute to the Toufic H. Kalil house, one of the prolific architect’s Usonian Automatic homes, built in 1955. Intricately patterned, the textured gray and green dial evokes the home and its forested surroundings while recreating its most eye-catching element, the modular block construction and multiple rows of rectangular windows. Freeform apertures in the dial reveal the automatic heartbeat movement beneath—especially fitting for the Kalil house’s “Automatic” nickname. The gray ion-plated stainless steel case has a polished bezel and brushed finishing, a sapphire crystal, and features an exhibition case back printed with the house name and an image of the open blocks, along with the Frank Lloyd Wright logo.
